It is not intended to replace a moisture meter specifically calibrated for a particular material when specialized accuracy is required.

• Material pressure can affect moisture readings, particularly when measuring different layers of grain.
• Lower layers may experience greater pressure and can produce different readings from upper layers.
• When necessary, use the deviation adjustment function to compensate based on actual measurement conditions.
• The effect of material pressure is generally lower when moisture content is below 13%.
