Features

This manual applies to each model of the FY8300S series Function/Arbitrary Waveform Signal Generator. The last three characters of the model indicate the maximum output of the Sine Wave in MHz. For example, the “60M” in Model Number “FY8300-60M” indicates the Sine wave's maximum output frequency is up to 60MHz.

The FY8300S series is a three-channel function/arbitrary waveform generator featuring a high-performance, cost-effective, multifunction signal generator. It integrates a Function Signal Generator, Arbitrary Waveform Generator, Pulse Generator, Analog/Digital modulator, Sweep, Counters, and Frequency Meter. With abundant shortcut keys and a graphical user interface, operations are simplified, providing ease of use without in-depth learning. Ideal for education, research and development, production, testing, and maintenance, this generator presents a new choice.

Utilizing Direct Digital Synthesizer (DDS) technology, the generator offers stable, precise, pure, and low-distortion signals. Surface mounting technology enhances interference immunity and extends operational life span. Capable of outputting up to 97 groups of functions/arbitrary waveforms, including 33 preset waveforms and 64 user-defined waveforms.

Waveform Characteristics

Waveforms: Sine, Square, Rectangle (Duty Cycle adjustable), Pulse (Pulse width and cycle time can be set accurately), Triangle/Ramp, Sawtooth Wave, CMOS, Four channels TTL, DC, and more, including 64 custom-defined waveforms.

Non-Volatile Storage: Can store 64 user-defined arbitrary waveforms, with waveform length 8192 points * 14bits and a sampling rate of 250MSa/s.

Output Characteristics

Amplitude (VPP) varies with frequency. It ranges from 1mVpp~24Vpp (Frequency ≤5MHz) to 1mVpp~5Vpp (Frequency >20MHz). Provides excellent amplitude stability of ±0.5%/5 Hours and impedance of 50Ω±10% (Typical).

DC offsets available up to ±12V (Frequency ≤20MHz) or ±2.5V (Frequency >20MHz).

Modulation

Supports AM, FM, PM, ASK, FSK, PSK modulation types. Carrier waveforms include Sine, Square, Triangle, Ramp, Arbitrary (except DC).

General Specifications
