Description:

This component is ideal for a robot kit and includes a raindrop sensor designed to monitor various weather conditions. It converts variations into reference signals alongside an AO output.

  • Durability: Crafted from premium FR-04 double-sided materials with a King Size of 5.0 x 4.0 cm. The surface is nickel-plated to enhance anti-oxidation, conductivity, and overall longevity.
  • Output Forms: Delivers both digital (switching outputs: 0 and 1) and analog AO voltage outputs.
  • TTL-Level Output: Offers TTL outputs where a valid signal is low. Its driving capability is 100 mA, making it capable of directly driving relays, buzzers, small fans, and more.
  • Adjustable Sensitivity: Easily adjust sensitivity with the included potentiometer.
  • LED Indicator: The LED lights up when there is no rain, indicating a high output. When raindrops are detected, the output switches to ground level.

How to Use:

  1. Connect to a 5V power supply. The power indicator will light up when the sensor board is dry, and the DO output is high with the switch light off. When raindrops are detected, the DO output becomes low, turning on the switch light. Once the water is brushed off, the output returns to a high state.
  2. AO analog output can be linked to a microcontroller AD port to analyze the magnitude of detected rainfall.
  3. Connect the DO TTL digital output to a microcontroller to check for rain presence.

Connection Mode:

  • VCC: Connect to positive power supply (3-5V)
  • GND: Connect to negative terminal
  • DO: TTL switching signal output
  • AO: Analog signal output
