Note: Do not use indoors. This detector is designed for outdoor use only. Many household appliances emit electromagnetic energy which can interfere with the detector. For indoor demonstrations, reduce the Gain and keep the search coil away from appliances such as computers, televisions, and microwave ovens. If the detector beeps erratically, switch off nearby appliances and lights. Also, keep the search coil away from metal objects such as floors and walls.
