Feature Overview

This module uses the LM2596 chip, offering high efficiency (up to 92%) with low heat generation. It supports currents up to 3A, with an original TI op-amp controlling the output current for stability. The Sanyo low ESR filter capacitor ensures low ripple voltage at 50mV. This module is machine placed with reflow soldering for optimal performance.

This adjustable buck module can change output voltage via the blue adjustable resistor. Note that input and output differential pressure is 2V, with a minimum output of 1.23V. Please connect correctly as indicated: IN - (negative input), IN (positive input), OUT - (negative output), OUT (positive output) to avoid damage.

Battery Charging Method

  1. Ensure the battery float voltage, charging current, and module input voltage are correct.
  2. Adjust the constant potentiometer so that the output voltage is approximately 5V.
  3. Use a multimeter (set to 10A current) to measure the output short-circuit current. Adjust the constant current potentiometer until the output current reaches the desired charge current value.
  4. The default turn lamp current is 0.1 times the charging current (constant current value). Adjust the turn lamp current potentiometer if necessary, though it generally doesn't need adjustment.
  5. Adjust the constant potentiometer so the output voltage reaches the float voltage.
  6. Connect the battery and initiate charging.

LED Constant Current Driver Method

  1. Ensure the operating current and maximum working voltage for the LED drive are correct.
  2. Adjust the constant potentiometer so that the output voltage is about 5V.
  3. Use a multimeter (set to 10A current) to measure the output short-circuit current. Adjust the constant current potentiometer until the output current reaches the desired LED working current.
  4. Adjust the constant potentiometer to ensure the output voltage reaches the maximum operating voltage for the LED.
  5. Connect the LED and test the setup.
