40A 3S 11.1V/12.6V 18650 Li-ion Battery BMS Protection Board

Description:

This product is designed for use with nominal voltage 3.6V or 3.7V lithium batteries, including 18650, 26650, and polymer lithium batteries.

Features:

• Continuous Discharge Current: up to 40A (please reduce the load current if the cooling environment is inadequate).
• Continuous Charge Current: up to 20A.
• Compatible with drills requiring a starting current below 80A and power below 135W.

Important Notes:

1. Drill Compatibility: To successfully start the drill, use three 15C-20C power batteries or six 10C-15C power batteries. Ordinary 18650 batteries are not suitable for starting the drill.
2. Wiring Guidelines: Follow the schematic wiring instructions for 0V, 4.2V, 8.4V, 12.6V carefully. Avoid any deliberate short circuits.
3. Motor Use: If using a motor with a brush, connect a non-polar capacitor (with a voltage withstand capacity above 25V and a capacity of 10uF-100uF) to the motor's positive and negative terminals to prevent reverse spikes that can damage the MOSFET.
4. Battery Series Configuration: Ensure each battery in a series group has the same voltage. If they're not the same, charge each battery separately before using them in series. During discharge tests, the battery group with faster voltage drop may indicate a weaker battery.
