Description

• This kit is a perfect solution for monitoring weather conditions using a raindrop and rain sensor system. It works effectively in various weather scenarios and provides both digital and analog outputs.
• Constructed with high-quality FR-04 double-sided materials, the sensor features a King Size (5.0 x 4.0 cm) surface with nickel plating, ensuring excellent conductivity and resistance to oxidation.
• The sensor offers both digital switching outputs (0 and 1) and analog AO voltage outputs.
• It provides TTL-level output, where a valid TTL signal is low. With a driving capability of 100mA, it can directly drive relays, buzzers, and small fans.
• The sensitivity of the sensor can be adjusted using a potentiometer.
• The LED indicator will be lit when there is no rain, indicating a high output, and turns off as raindrops increase, indicating a low-level output.

How to Use

1. Connect the sensor to a 5V power supply. The power indicator light will illuminate. If the sensor board is dry, the DO output remains high, and the switch is off. Adding a water droplet will switch the DO output low, activating the indicator switch. Removing the water returns it to a high state.
2. The AO analog output can be connected to the microcontroller's AD port to measure the raindrop size.
3. DO TTL digital outputs allow microcontroller connection to detect rain presence.
