Operating Instructions:

1. Connect the radio, antenna tuner, and antenna.
2. For initial use, set the radio or power amplifier output power between 20-30W to prevent potential damage from high-power tuning.
3. Set the radio mode to frequency modulation.
4. Select the antenna band and use 20-30W power in frequency modulation mode. Press the radio PTT and monitor the ATU antenna tuner's PWR and SWR.
5. The ATU button has two functions: a short press (less than 1 second) resets it, while a long press (more than 1 second) initiates tuning.
6. If the SWR is greater than 2.0 during transmission, the antenna may be detuned. Use the antenna tuner by holding the ATU button to adjust, aiming for an SWR below 2.0 for optimal performance. If the SWR exceeds 3.0 post-tuning, limit transmission power to below 30W.
