Description

The 2004A character LCD module is expertly crafted to display letters, numbers, symbols, and dot matrix characters. It features the capability to show 4 lines of 20 characters each. The module supports both 4-bit and 8-bit data transfer modes and offers a 5x7 matrix cursor display mode.

It includes a display data buffer DDRAM, a character generator CGROM, and CGRAM. The CGRAM allows for storing up to eight 5x8 dot matrix character fonts with custom graphic definitions, enhancing your display options.

The module provides a comprehensive instruction set, including clear display, cursor return to origin, display on/off, cursor on/off, character blink, cursor shift, and display shift, among others.
